In Star Wars Unlimited, we’re blessed to be spoiled with over 250 cards at launch, and that isn’t including different versions such as Showcases and Hyperspaces.
When cracking open those sweet sweet packs, for new players, it may be a bit confusing.
Below we break down all the rarities, card types, foils, and the odds of these in Star Wars Unlimited.
All Rarities in Star Wars Unlimited
Luckily in Star Wars Unlimited, the rarities are not hard to follow. These are indicated at the bottom of a card, and have the following:
- Uncommon
- Common
- Rare
- Legendary
- Special
You can find this at the bottom of the card, shown below:
All card types explained
In Star Wars Unlimited, there are a few card types, some of which can be combined, these are:
- Standard cards – these are non-foiled, and come in your standard card slots
- Hyperspace – these are again non-foiled, but are borderless cards, all cards have hyperspace versions.
- Showcase – these are only in the form of Leaders, and have alternative-art, and are foiled
- Foils – you get one per pack, and are shiny versions of cards
It is possible to get variants combined, for example a Standard Foil, Hyperspace Foil (also known as Hyperfoil). You can see some examples, such as this Luke Skywalker.
All pull rates for Star Wars Unlimited
While we’d all love a Hyperfoil and a Showcase, these are extremely rare. Fantasy Flight Games have broken down the pull rates, which are:
- 9 Common cards per pack
- 3 Uncommon cards per pack
- 1 Rare or Legendary per pack
- 1 Foil per pack
- 1 Legendary in every 8 packs
- 2 Hyperspaces in every 3 packs
- 1 Hyperspace Rare/Legendary in every 15 packs
- 1 Hyperspace Rare/Legendary foil in every 50 packs
- 1 Showcase Leader in every 12 boxes
As you can see, the chances of getting a Hyperspace Foil Rare or Legendary, and a showcase is really high, so if you get one, make sure to be excited.
That’s all for the rarities explained. Make sure to check out more SWU Resources here.
